NAPC Survey of Initiatives/Programs to Address Health and Social Indicators in the United States The National Association of Planning Councils (NAPC) is committed to the use of indicators as a tool for positive change to address community problems and improve community conditions affecting people's lives. We plan for this website to be a useful information resource for people who want to learn about "best practice" examples of how communities are using indicators to improve individual and community health and well-being. We want to highlight how indicators inform and guide systems changes, support development of innovative programs, impact public policy decisions, and track improvements in health and economic status.
